Treasure Island yesterday and today.
This is the best footage of the '39 exposition I've seen so far, the colour is quite stunning. Does anyone know if any of the buildings survive today, I think Treasure has been developed since the US Navy turned it into an eyesore years ago, having seen some recent footage it appears to look smart again, the latest footage was part of a documentary so didn't last long, sadly from what I saw hardly anything survives, if you know better please tell me as I'm interested in the history of Treasure Island.

The tall and short of it
Some dazzling footage of the Golden Gate fair held in SF, shot by a person very much in love with the glowers growing there, as the camera seems to dwell on the flowering plants. On the opposite end, comes huge hulking buildings that we don't know the name of, but I am not complaining as they are monstrous wonders to look at, it's way too bad that fair buildings aren't built like this anymore :(
